Algebra and Topology: Methods, Computation, and Science

ATMCS 4: 21-26 June 2010

Welcome to ATMCS 4 in Münster, Germany in June 2010.

The conference, 4th in the series, welcomes participants interested in the applications of topological methods in areas of application, such as computer science, statistics and data analysis, robotics and motion planning, and others. Topological methods can provide useful ways of studying nonlinear data sets, parallel and distributed computing, coverage  questions in sensor net problems, dynamical systems, and many other specific areas.  This is a rapidly developing area of investigation, and we strongly encourage the participation of scientists and engineers as well as of mathematicians interested in these areas.  The program will consist of invited lectures as well as some contributed talks.
